The problem

Most owners settle for one card for their business spend, and leave real rewards and cash on the table.

Flip Your Points helps you choose the right cards to maximize your rewards, so you're getting the most out of every dollar of spending your business is already doing.

You're guessing at the checkout.

One card catches materials, ads, software, fuel, and subscriptions. Several of those categories pay three or four times more on a different card in your wallet, and nothing tells you which one at the moment you're swiping.

The flip

A one-page routing guide, so every expense has an obvious home.

Figuring it out is a second job.

Transfer partners, category caps, welcome offers, annual fees, processing fees. Every "best business card" list on the internet was written for someone else's business, by someone who has never seen your numbers.

The flip

I do the homework against your real spend and hand you a plan you can run in minutes a month.

You earn it. The bank keeps the upside.

You carry the risk, sign for the materials, and make payroll. When all of that runs through a flat 1% card, most of the value you created quietly ends up somewhere other than your business.

The flip

The same spend, routed well, comes back to you as flights, hotel nights, or cash.

The opportunity

Imagine using the right card for the best return on every purchase.

You don't need a wallet full of cards. One or two, matched to how your business actually spends, whether that pays out in cash back or travel points, is enough to put every purchase to work. That's the confidence of knowing your cards are working for you, not the other way around.

Built first for businesses that spend to operate

Real-estate investors Property managers Contractors & trades Home-service businesses

Flip Your Points is designed first for property and service businesses with substantial card-eligible expenses. Other established, high-spend owner-operators may also qualify.

The gut check

Right now, your money earns a participation trophy.

You don't need a spreadsheet to tell whether this is you. Run down the list. If three or more of these sound like your business, there's almost certainly value sitting inside spending you're already doing.

Here's the good news: you don't need to spend more. You need your spending to land in the right places. That's the flip.

You're probably leaving points on the table if…

  • One card handles nearly every expense
  • Large purchases go on whichever card is most convenient
  • You pay annual fees for benefits you rarely use
  • Your points and rewards are scattered across several programs
  • You opened cards over the years without a clear plan
  • You're not sure whether card-processing fees erase the rewards
  • You want a better system, not a complicated one

Your points nerd

Hi, I'm Josh. I did the obsessive homework so you don't have to.

Generic "best business credit card" lists can't account for your business. The right strategy depends on what you spend, where you spend it, which cards you already hold, what's coming up next quarter, and how much complexity you'll actually maintain.

Joshua King, founder of Flip Your Points

Joshua King

Founder · Flip Your Points

I'm a business owner and real-estate investor myself. I've used intentional card and rewards strategies to turn spending my family and businesses were already doing into flights, hotels, rental cars, and cash-equivalent value.

I built Flip Your Points for owners who want that value without turning points into a second job.

"I'm not the biggest spender in the room. I'm the one who went deepest on one question: how do you make every dollar of business spend earn more?"

Ecosystems I actually work in

Rewards strategy lives or dies on the details of a specific program — transfer partners, category coding, annual credits, application rules, and how two cards in the same family behave together. These are the issuer ecosystems I've spent the most time inside, on both the personal and business side.

Issuer programs

American Express Chase Capital One Bank of America Citi

Co-branded airline & hotel cards

Delta SkyMiles United Airlines Hilton Honors IHG One Rewards

Cards I've personally held

  • American Express Gold Card & American Express Business Gold Card
  • The Platinum Card and The Business Platinum Card from American Express
  • Chase Sapphire Preferred and Chase Sapphire Reserve
  • Chase Ink Business Preferred, Ink Business Unlimited, and Ink Business Cash

Held and used personally over years of real spending, not researched from a comparison page. Flip Your Points is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or compensated by any issuer, airline, or hotel brand. Card names are the trademarks of their respective owners, and product terms change often — your recommendations are always checked against current terms.

How it works

The flip, in three moves.

Show me the spend

Complete a structured worksheet using ballpark ranges or categorized totals. Redacted statements are optional. Most owners spend 20–30 minutes on intake. No account logins, ever.

We talk it through

Once I've reviewed your intake, we get on a short call (usually 20–30 minutes) to walk through your categories, current cards, upcoming purchases, and what level of complexity you actually want to manage. This happens before I finalize anything, so the strategy is built around a real conversation, not just a form.

You get the game plan

Within 7 business days of our call, you'll get your written strategy, one-page routing guide, application roadmap, and a short recorded walkthrough. I follow up once by email to answer any remaining questions together, in one round.

More back on every dollar Always know which card Simple enough to actually stick
I take a limited number of Card Stack Reviews each month so every one gets real attention.

What you get

One Card Stack Review. A whole game plan.

This isn't a listicle of "best cards." It's a strategy built on your actual numbers, and it comes with everything below.

Portfolio diagnosis

Where your current cards underperform, overlap, or charge fees for perks you don't use.

Recommended card strategy

What to keep, reconsider, or add, prioritized so you don't need to open everything at once.

One-page routing guide

Which card for which expense, simple enough to stick on the fridge.

Application & purchase roadmap

What to consider first, timed around purchases you already have coming.

A conversation, not just a document

A live call before your strategy is finalized, a written report, a recorded walkthrough, and one round of follow-up by email.

Sample output

You'll always know which card. And why.

A great rewards strategy should fit on one page. Your report includes a category-by-category cheat sheet like this one.

Privacy & confidentiality

You stay in control of what you share.

Flip Your Points never asks for bank logins, card passwords, full account numbers, security codes, PINs, or access to your financial accounts. Full stop.

Most clients complete the Card Stack Review one of three ways:

Ballpark ranges

A directional analysis built from approximate category totals. Quick and painless.

Spending worksheet Most popular

Categories, estimated totals, current card used, recurring status, and notes. The sweet spot of easy and accurate.

Redacted statements

For maximum accuracy: redacted documents help catch missed categories and sneaky recurring expenses.

Who it's for

Made for owners who play it smart.

Sounds like you if…

  • You run a legitimate business with real monthly expenses
  • You average at least $10,000 in monthly business spend
  • Ideally $20,000 or more: that's where it gets fun
  • You pay card balances in full, every month
  • Your credit is strong or improving
  • You want a system you'll actually maintain
  • You'd enjoy travel rewards, cash back, or flexible points
  • You've got significant purchases coming up

Probably not for you if…

  • You regularly carry high-interest balances
  • You need financing more than rewards optimization
  • You want guaranteed card approval (nobody can promise that)
  • You want to manufacture spending
  • You'd misrepresent business information
  • You have little card-eligible business spending
  • You're hoping rewards will fix a cash-flow problem
  • You want to run 10+ cards or churn sign-up bonuses aggressively

Rewards only create value when the underlying financial habits make sense. If you're currently carrying a balance, the Card Stack Review likely isn't the right next step. Get balances paid down first, then come back. Read our short guide on prioritizing payoff before rewards →

FAQ

Fair questions, straight answers.

Will applying for a new card affect my credit?

A credit-card application may affect your credit, and approval is never guaranteed. The report provides strategic considerations, but the final decision to apply remains yours.

Do I need to open every recommended card?

No. Recommendations are prioritized so you can decide what level of complexity is appropriate.

Will I end up with cash back or travel points?

Whichever is worth more for your business. Every recommendation weighs straight cash back against the real value of travel points for your spend, not an assumed conversion rate, and we only point you toward points when they'll outearn cash back. If cash back wins for you, that's what you'll get.

Can you apply for cards on my behalf?

No. Clients remain responsible for all applications and financial decisions.

Do you receive affiliate compensation?

Flip Your Points may receive compensation from certain application links. When applicable, this will be disclosed. Compensation does not determine which products are recommended.

Are credit-card rewards taxable?

Tax treatment can depend on the type of reward and how it was earned. Clients should consult a qualified tax professional.

Can you help with personal spending too?

The primary service is designed around business spending. A limited personal-spending component may be considered when it directly affects the overall strategy.

What if my business or spending changes after the review?

Your routing guide and application roadmap are built around your spending at the time of the review. If your spend profile shifts significantly, reach out; future strategy updates can be scoped separately.

How do you make sure annual fees don't outweigh the rewards?

Every card recommendation is checked against its annual fee before it's included. We don't suggest a card unless the expected rewards clear its own cost for your spending pattern.
